Slim Chickens Allergens

Slim Chickens Allergens

This page collects the allergen information Slim Chickens publishes for its own menu, item by item, so guests with food allergies can plan before they visit. Everything below comes from one source: the chain’s official Nutritional and Allergen Info page (slimchickens.com/nutritional-and-allergen-info/), read in October 2026. That page shows no publication or version date, and recipes, suppliers and store practices change, so treat this page as a planning guide and always confirm with the restaurant before you order, especially for a severe allergy. This is an unofficial guide site and this page is not medical advice.

The chain’s official allergy notice

Slim Chickens states that all of its menu items are crafted in the same kitchen, and its official notice says: items may contain milk, eggs, wheat, soybean, fish, shellfish, sesame, tree nuts and/or peanuts. The chain says it uses only trans-fat-free soybean oil and does not use peanut oil in its kitchen, but because cooking and preparation areas are shared, including common fryer oil, food can come into contact with other products, and the chain cannot guarantee that any menu item is completely allergen free. Guests with a food allergy are told to inform the cashier, and to see the manager with questions about any item. The official page also notes that MSG is a component of the grilled tender seasoning, and of the Ranch and Cayenne Ranch dipping sauces and sandwich spreads, and that all menu items can be ordered without sauces, spreads and seasonings.

How to read the lists below

Each line names the allergens the official page flags for that item. Two of the chain’s own notations matter. Where the official page marks soy with a star, it means soybean oil only, and those lines are written below as “soy (soybean oil only)”. Where it marks sesame with a plus, it means some restaurants may serve buns that contain sesame, so ask your local store; those lines are written as “sesame (possible, bun dependent)”. If an allergen is not listed for an item, the official page does not flag it for that item. Meal combos are not given single allergen lines by the chain, so meals are covered through their components (tenders, sides, sauces and drinks) in the sections below.

Tenders, Tender Bites and wings

The official page lists these per single piece, before any meal extras:

Sauced and tossed versions change the flags. As examples from the official page, a Korean BBQ tender or wing also contains sesame, a Garlic Parmesan wing contains milk, and a Sweet Red Chili wing contains wheat and milk. If you order a tossed flavor, check that flavor’s own line on the official page or ask the store.

Sandwiches and wraps

Salads

Dressings carry their own allergens; see the sauces and dressings section below.

Mac bowls and Chicken and Waffles

The official page does not give one combined allergen line for a Chicken and Waffles plate, and it does not list the Spicy versions of the mac bowls at all. The tenders in the waffle plate follow the fried tender line above.

Sides

Sauces and dressings

The official page lists these per standard sauce serving:

Shakes and desserts

The official page does not list the Cherry Cheesecake Jar, which is the jar flavor on the current menu page; jar flavors rotate, so ask the store about the flavor in the case before ordering.

Catering sizes

Trays of tenders, wings and bites follow the per piece lines in the tenders section above.

What the official list does not cover

A few gaps are worth knowing about. The official page gives no allergen breakdown for kids meals: for the Kid’s 4 Piece Tender Bites Meal it publishes only a calorie range, so use the component lines above (bites, mac and cheese, fries) as a guide and confirm with the store. It does not list the Spicy mac bowl versions, the drinks and teas, or allergen totals for whole meals and trays. Where this page is silent about an item, that is because the chain’s published list is silent too, not because the item is allergen free.

Eating out with an allergy: practical notes

Tell the cashier about the allergy before ordering, as the chain itself advises, and ask to speak to the manager about specific items. Remember the shared kitchen and shared fryer oil warning: even an item whose own ingredients look safe for you can pick up contact with other products during cooking. Items can be ordered without sauces, spreads and seasonings, which removes several of the most common allergen carriers (most of the creamy sauces contain milk and egg). For the published calorie figures that go with these items, see our nutrition page, and for the sauce list with prices, see the sauces page.
